Question #2

"When you photograph people in color, you photograph their clothes. But when you photograph people in black and white, you photograph their souls!" Ted Grant

I agree with this quote because often times, color in pictures may act as a distraction and pull the viewers away from the idea of the picture rather than closer to it. There's so many things to focus on when the picture is in color, especially when everything is depicted in the same way, without any manipulation such as blur, contrast, light etc. However, when a picture is portrayed in black and white, it's simple and easy to focus on. In this way, the viewers will have an easier time interpreting what the picture is really trying to portray. It evokes more emotion because it's so simple, it makes the viewers question and think.
