Time is an escapable thing, despite the countless attempts we, as humans, try to understand and grasp a greater sense of it in the real world, through innovation and invention of gadgets and digital devices like clocks to manipulate and calculate it. It is just this ever flowing thing that coexists along us, to keep us on track and focused. To present life with greater meaning, setting limits and boundaries so that we would treasure and have a greater appreciation toward who we are and what we do in life. Despite it's constant fluidity, I think that time is also very obscure and abstract, because it's also an illusion, and can make easily make one become lost or confuse. Despite the many ways in which we try to manipulate time, I think there's also an unexplainable aspect that keeps us wanting more.

Question #2
"When you photograph people in color, you photograph their clothes. But when you photograph people in black and white, you photograph their souls!" Ted Grant
I agree with this quote because often times, color in pictures may act as a distraction and pull the viewers away from the idea of the picture rather than closer to it. There's so many things to focus on when the picture is in color, especially when everything is depicted in the same way, without any manipulation such as blur, contrast, light etc. However, when a picture is portrayed in black and white, it's simple and easy to focus on. In this way, the viewers will have an easier time interpreting what the picture is really trying to portray. It evokes more emotion because it's so simple, it makes the viewers question and think.
