Leafy Fun!

To embrace the fall season, my friend and I went to this beautiful walkway in the front of the school and had some leafy fall celebration. Here, I took a picture of my friend Kira. I really like this picture because it captures the beauty of the fall season and the fun that comes from it.

Double me!

This was another example I did of cross process. I was just alone in my room one night and got bored and decided to go on a photo adventure. I had these cool chandeliers things I made out of computer disks and I used it so my face was reflected on it. I thought it was really interesting and cool.

Village Boys

This was a cross process project where we got to play around and adjust the colors of the picture.  I took this picture last year during my visit to the sea of clouds up in the mountains in Taiwan. We lived in this little indian village and I wanted to capture the innocence and life of the village boy. I gave this picture a vintagy effect and thought it looked really cool. This was a cross process project where we got to play around and adjust the colors of the picture.

The 3 Expressions of Mom

For the self portrait project, I took pictures of my mom while she was reading. She seems to be reading something that was very interesting.

Unlike the usual serious expression she makes, I was able to make my mom reveal her crazy and interesting side in this picture. I love this picture a lot since it is rarely seen anywhere.

While she was reading, I was able to capture the burden and stress my mom faces everyday. It really shows how hardworking and caring she is.

Bike in the Dark

This is a silhouette for my light project. I didn't really have any figurines around the house so I took this barbie bike from when I was little and used it instead. I thought the outcome was really cool because the image looks really sharp. I used my usual RICOH point and shoot camera, not bad right?

CAR TOYS

For this assignment we were suppose to take a picture from a higher point of view and then use photoshop to create a tilt shift effect. In this case, the car will look like toys. I took this from the PSU bridge in Downtown Portland. I hope to create more of these soon, so far I'm still experimenting with this project. I think it will work better if I was at a higher altitude.

Composers in the Dark

This was for my light project where we had to take 12 direct light photos along with 12 silhouette. This was among the 12 direct photos that I took with my Ricoh point and shoot camera. I simply just took pictures of the piano composer figurines that I have above my piano. I really like the distinction of mozart in the background, which captures the attention of the audience. Overall I found this picture really cool.

Just a day with my friends

While attending a birthday party, I took this picture of my two friends with my Ricoh point and shoot camera. The picture turned out so well that I ended up making a collage for the friend on the left for her birthday. She was pretty delighted with the present. :)
